I became a supervisor in 2011 and I love it!
For me supervision is a place to explore, be creative, reflective about ourselves and our practice.
I trained with Mike Worrall and Linda Smith at Counselling Xtra using a person-centred model for supervision. I hold a Certificate in Person-Centred Supervision. I've also read widely and attended further CPD around supervision models.
My experience as a supervisor began at Notts Sexual Violence Support Service where I supervised counsellors and helpline volunteers. I then began to offer supervision in private practice.
I continue to supervise therapists in organisations and private practice, as well as others in different types of working environments.
My principles around supervision are about providing support in a safe environment where the supervisee can bring all of their practice and be encouraged to consider their own development.
Prior to becoming a therapist I've worked in the careers field so I'm happy exploring all aspects of a therapists career and personal development.
I work close to the city centre at Foxhall Lodge on Gregory Boulevard, opposite the Forest Recreation ground, NG7 6LH.
There is free parking available and it is has good public transport links - both bus & tram.
My fees for supervision are £55 per hour.
I can offer supervision either in the room or via Zoom.
